Vitamin C has many benefits for your body and skin. It is an important factor in helping your skin build collagen. When Vitamin C serums are applied to the skin, they can serve as an antioxidant to protect it from free radicals, molecules of oxygen that can attack and break down cells in the skin. UV radiation is thought to be one of the sources of these free radicals, so putting a Vitamin C serum on in the morning can "mop" them up throughout the day!
